HiCap Records is proud to present "Sub Culture in Pop Culture". It's going to be an all ages night of electronic mayhem featuring four bands. HiCap artists Radio Way and Lectronin and Isopod (from the 080808 show) and new friends Original Sound Trash from the Satyricon show. It's going to be a fun night with a light show, dancing, and soda pop. That's right, Moxies has become Pop Culture complete with a new stage. But they still have the same great selection of soda. So come out Thursday Night, August 27th. The show starts at 7:00 PM and costs $5 at the door.

So, this news is late in coming, due to problems with Drupal, but Radio Way's debut release "Just Like the 80's was reviewed in Revolt Media's May edition. Just to whet the appetite, here's a quote, "For listeners that hated music in the 1980s, this is an EP to avoid . . . " You can read the entire article here.

Radio Way and Lectronin (the label's current roster) will be performing at the Satyricon in Portland on July 5th starting at 7:00 PM. Admission is $7. The Satyricon is located at 125 NW 6th Ave, Portland, OR 97209.

To all of HiCap Records’ friends and fans, I’m posting this because I know and have worked with Kevin.

Robert "Kevin" Tracey, a guitar teacher from Vancouver WA, was attacked while cross-country skiing. The people who attacked him left him for dead and stole his vehicle. They are still at large. Kevin does not have health insurance and the medical bills are adding up fast. Unable to teach, and without his vehicle any more, he is in trouble!

HiCap Records and Radio Way are throwing a party to celebrate the release of Radio Way's debut EP, "Just Like the 80's". It's being held at Compass Church at 1812 Main St., Vancouver, WA 98666 at 7:00 PM on Friday January 30. Ben Blakely will open for Radio Way, and there will be coffee available and free prizes. This event is open to the public, and admission is $3 at the door.
