HiCap Records at Sunday Streets Alive 2013
HiCap Records is participating in Vancouver’s first open street event, Sunday Streets Alive. On Sunday, August 18, 2013 the city is shutting down 4.2 miles of street and turning it into a promenade for pedestrians, cyclists, and other means of human transportation. There will be seven activity centers along the route.
The HiCap Records booth will be located at the John Ball Park activities center where the focus is on kids activities. We plan on hosting a Jump n Jive dance with music provided by the North by Northwest Jazz Combo, a synchronized jumping jacks competition using wiimote and a computer scoring system, and DJing family friendly tunes for people to move and groove. We plan on giving out water, free magnets, and good times. So stop on by, say hi, and bust a move.
